sorry about your car, same thing happened to me a while ago...luckily they left a note on mine.

anyway, contact AckTL05 and he'll get you a new bumper for $260 shipped unprinted. paint job will run you $250-300.

depends on where you are located and who you go to.

but the going rate for a new OEM bumper and paint...$500-700.

make sure to get the bumper done by a reputable shop that preps it correctly otherwise you will be redeeming the lifetime warranty on the work.

My dads car was hit in lowes parking lot. For them to release the footage he had to file a police report, then go to court and get the police involved and file a paper work for lowes to release the footage and would have been a HUGE hassle. Your best bet is to put a very sensitive alarm or catch someone in the act or get pictures yourself of it happening...it sucks..

My other buddy last year was driving, and he heard a thump. He got out and saw a dog under the car. He wasn't worried about the car and did all he can to get the dog. The dog ended up walking away fine...his ron jon from bumper was in pieces..

He called the cops and got a police report. The cops told the guy it was his fault and if he would pay for the bumper. Mind you as he was there the dog got loose AGAIN and ran into the road...the guy said I will take my chances in court. He went to court three times (one time the guy didn't show) and is STILL waiting for his money, even after he won in court..theres no law saying one gets put in jail or "has" to pay at a certain date or else or something..it sucks...

Agreed, I just did the same. Just bear in mind that the a-spec lip comes pre-painted while the bumper does not. If you go this route, make sure you get a quality paint job or the lip won't match the bumper.

Also, I hated the look of the factory exhaust with the A-Spec lip, so I plunked down some extra cash and got the comptech cat back exhaust to finish out the rear end.
