Got My Tl On Tuesday

Hey,

I picked up my TL on Tuesday. 5AT w/ NAVI Anthracite w/Ebony. So far so good. Had a small scuff on rim, but the dealer gave me a "We Owe" Slip stating that they will put brand new tires & wheels.

Walked out on Monday after geting $35,765.52 OTD price (Almost 3K was TTL). Left $500 deposit, then returned on Tuesday to write the check and drive off.

I got a pretty sweet deal for my trade (1996 Maxima).

So far I am really enjoying the car. Think I have about 65 miles on it now. I am still nervous when I drive it...kinda like I'm on a test drive.

Thanks for all the help everyone.

Storm.

I picked up my Anthracite/5spAT/Navi/Ebony about three weeks ago. Traded in my '02 3.2 TL. Wow, what a difference! My biggest dissapointment in my '02 was the amount of body roll and somewhat 'squishy' suspension. Acura sure beefed things up in the '06. Maybe I'm still dillerious from having the new model, but I'm digging it big time!

We really ought to start a poll to see which day of the week is the most popular for buying a TL.

Oh, and congratulations on the car.

Hi PortlandTL: for how much did you get your new TL and what was the trade in value of your 02 3.2 TL? I have an 02 TL too and I'm thinking of trading it for an 06 TL.

I paid $34,993 (odd number, I think the dealership uses a Ouija board to arrive at their prices). The dealership was only going to give me 15,900 for my '02, which I found ridiculous as they had my exact car on their lot for $22,000. I wound up selling it to a family member for $19k. Based on ads around Portland, that seemed like a pretty reasonable price.

I was reading a post about tire rotation and I forgot to mention that I also got 7 years free oil changes and tire rotations from this Acura Dealer. I wonder how much of a savings that is nowadays...when some foreign cars can go 5-7k or maybe even 10k between oil changes.
