Good spot in NYC

I'm looking for a good bodyshop in NYC where I can go to get my roof spoiler painted WDP. I want to get it done tomorrow so if anybody can drop a name/location I'll appreciate it.

Any body shop will do a decent job, but they will still have to order the paint for you.

Where in NYC are you?

I went there once, to get my fender replaced & painted. I go friday around 6pm. Guy tells me bring your car Saturday morning so We can start working on it. After a friday night of drinking and dancing i managed to wake up at 830am. when i get there dude tells me they have no space to go monday. NEVER WENT THERE AGAIN!

If you're thinking of getting a one day job, I think paint jobs take a minimum of 2 days.
That's why I haven't fixed my bumper yet.................

Not many places do you deal directly with the owner! I had about 4K in body damage done and the job was flawless. No overspray and a 100% paint match. Ahmad personally met me at the subway stop and drove me back to his shop. It's obvious your choice where you take your car but everyone deserves a second chance

I'm not blaming him. He was not at the shop saturday morning. I spoke wit him friday afternoon. Not too be to cocky but i'ma full time student & i have a full time job. Time for me is critical. That i really like to do everything on a timely manner. i might go back again. as i havent done my fender yet.

Not that this matters to you but the shop owner (Ahmed) owns a WDP and he'll take care of your car like it's his own.

Ahmad is cool, I had my whole car donethrew him, but I did it at a time where he wasn't really at the shop and so I can't say I was too happy with the way things went down. Im still hoping to get a few issues resolved with him regarding the paint job of my entire RJ kit and I'm confident he'll resolve the issues for me so that's why I haven't posted anythign negative, I'm just being patient.

But I do agree that Ahmad is a very stand up guy and safe. Its the other guys at the shop that I wasn't too thrilled about.

if you're willing to drive out to Flushing, check out Yonke Collision, has worked on many of my relatives high end cars for the past 20 years; and also did a job on my anthracite where someone had hit my car with a bat or something - near the sideskirt/fenders, they're pretty old bunch of guys doing the job, and if you're straight with him he'll be straight with you.

the dent/paintjob cost me about 400 with him. I went to ralleye for a quote and they wanted 1300.

I'll be honest... my issues have yet to be resolved and until they are resolved I will advise against going to this shop. I'm not going to bad mouth the shop yet or divulge everything but will soon if I'm not taken care of. I'm at a turning point with this shop, either they can do what's right or they can totally shoot themselves in the foot.

I honestly don't know why I put up with so much... but there is going to be a big hate thread if its not resolved properly.

Shop needs to have a spray booth and use the TOP 3 paints in the industry. This is how you guage if a shop is good or not. If they have both requirements, then proceed to ask to see a finished car and check for overspray and other paint defects.

Most shops in NYC from my experience are just ghetto... my experience of course... you gotta either cross over to NJ or go to LI to get some honest shit done.
