Is this a good rate for lease?

Hi, I'm torn between the G35sedan ( premium+nav) and the TL-s.
this is the quote I'm getting in LA

" For the 2007 TL Type-S Special Lease, with $880 total out of pocket, your payment is $476 plus tax for 36 months with 15,000 miles per year. This is based on tier 1 credit with Experian. The money factor is only .00093. "

Its a similar quote for the g35 but with an additional 1K down and 12K miles.
What do you guys say? the G or the TL? I like them both, just cant make up my mind. I know its been discussed before in the forums, but pls give me honest advice.
Thanks,BAV

The g35 it appears to be a total of aprx $2,500 more. So it depends if the g35 is worth $2,500 asdditional to you.

well- you get more miles per annum w/ the TL-S. it's a pretty good lease imo. what options are on the G? is it similarly equipped? is the G the sport model? how long are the leases for? G is a brand new model, TL will be redesigned w/in the next 1.5 - 2 years.

The G isnt sport, its Journey with premium+Nav. Both leases are 36mo's. How low do you think the delaer will go if I negotiate, i.e. realistically, what number is good to fight to?
I know the TL is coming in the next 1year ( Nov2008 for the 2009 model, right?)..thats whats making me go towards the G. I've been reading the forums, seems like all you guys are happy with the TL and it does look good, both from interior and exterior ( except the side, gives a very sedan'ish feel) The G is nice, but it gives a very confused look( they have changed the model every year for the last 4yrs now! Who knows, they might change it again..as u can see, i'm thoroughly confused. Help

Most here will say the TL and I am no different. I have test driven both and the TL is better over all.

I just leased a non S type and my figures are in this thread.

Good luck

Personally, with the automatic as your transmission of choice, I'd go with the G35. The automatic seems to tame that annoying buzz in the shift lever and pedals that goes with the G35 6-speed when you're pushing it, and in a drag race, it's pretty much neck and neck with the 6-speed. This means that with auto, the G35 is a tad quicker than the TL-S with 6-speed, and a good deal quicker than the TL-S with auto.

If your choice is a 6-speed, I'd go with the TL-S - and I did.

As for pricing, you should be gunning for no more than $500 per month (with tax), with minimum money up front on a 3/36 lease - with either car. The TL-S might be a tad cheaper than the G35 because it has better resale value, but it'll be close.

My TL-S 6-speed with Bridgestones went for $500 per month on a 3/36 lease, with a total of $100 (one-hundred dollars) out of pocket at lease signing. The net figure was $458.72 per month, but PA gets 9% sales tax on the deal, bringing it to an even $500.
