Question Is this a good price for a trunk tray...

The dealer is offering it to me at sales cost he says. $95 Will I do any better than this after shipping on the web?

Has it for $76.

The asterisks say :
h o n d a c u r a w o r l d
You will have to replace them.

Nickpoore, do you have any idea how much shipping will cost? And is this the exact same tray that the dealer would be selling me?

Yeah, I just couldn't get them to budge on this one...I have 4 oil changes, all season mats, and wheel locks....they won't budge on the trunk tray. I got the car for 35500 out the door with 5% sales tax, tags, dest., etc... included. Maybe that is why

Very simple.
Print out the page.
Take it to the dealership.
Say that you will buy it from them for that price or not at all.
Go to the next dealership's parts department. Repeat.

Yes, but the time you spend going from dealer to dealer may not be worth it to save $19 (and less if you have to pay shipping!)

My previous order (from website above) had a flat rate of $7.95 shipping - if I remember correctly... Less than $10 for sure.

Guys...let the folks you WANT to deal with make a buck or two. Otherwise our entire way of life comes comes to a screaching halt (OK, maybe not completely, but similar to lots like mom and pop shops pushed out by WalMart). You need to spread the wealth around. Keep funding those alternate supply lines so they'll be resonsive when you really need them.

I ALMOST agree with this.
My biggest problem here is that the dealer told him that he would sell it at cost, and that the cost is $95.
We have now found somebody else able to sell it $20 cheaper, so either:
1. The dealer is making a quick $20 markup.
2. The other dealer is making a $20 loss.
3. Dealerships get different prices.
Now, I don't believe that options #2 or #3 are really valid.
Therefore I think the dealer is making a quick $20.

I do not mind a dealer making a profit, but I dont' like being misled.

The bottom line is that the dealer said that he would sell it at cost, and the dealer is not doing that.
