Hello,
Have the opportunity to purchase a 2007 KBP type s from an original owner for around 18k. It has 85k mostly highway miles and new tires.
Is this a good price?
Thanks.

I forgot to add, the car comes with an Acura warranty for 1 1/2 more years or 120,000 miles.
Do Acura warranties transfer for free or is there a fee involved?
Thanks.

Seems like a good price to me if all the maintenance is up to date and everything checks out. Of course, you can always try to knock the price down a little. Warranty transfer should be simple but I am not 100% sure how that process works. Is it manual or auto? Pics?

These posts are kind of difficult to answer because your asking if the price is reasonable when no one has any clue how the car is in person. You can claim the car to be clean, but we need many more specifics to truely answer the question. If the car is one owner, with no accidents and no re-paint work, no dents or scratches, good name brand tires with good tread, like new looking interior thats clean and smoke free, no curb rash on wheels, oil is clean etc etc....then yes that sounds like a real nice deal to me.

If its maintained and the body/interior is in good condition then that is a steal.

Good Deal. I was able to get my KBP, certified pre-owned, with 70k miles for 19.5k. The leather seats inside were tearing, but I was able to get the dealer to take the car to the upholestry shop to fix the seats. But my car was involved in a hit and run a few days ago

The best price is when you think it is the best price, we can't determine that for you.

Nonetheless, it is a decent price. Get it.

Well, that's a lot of help
I didn't say "best" price, just asked if it was a good price.
I thought that was a fair question.

I was generalizing that statement.

Read the second line.

If it is well maintained then it is a pretty good price.

If it's Acura Care, yes, it's transferable without a fee. As for the price, it sounds really good and I hope you get all service records from the owner.

Stang, it seems like a good price on a rare colored car.
