Good Price??

Newbie to the forum....about to become a virgin Acura owner with a 2005 TL

Here is the lowdown:
2005 Acura TL, Automatic, With Navi, Anthracite with Ebony

Best Price so far:
$32,800 not including TT&L (Tax tittle and License) plus $100 "documentatin fee"

Located in Westchester, NY...maybe if someone else is out there looking for a TL we can join forces and groupbuy, get a hellava deal, and make a salesman's day?

Talk to me you enthusiasts...good price? Can I do better? Of so, where? Got a contact?

Reply Post or Private Message me...

Thanks!

I just bought from Yuri too. No BS, just signed, paid, and took the car.

Good Stuff....

What does "NBP" stand for?

Anyone have any other opinions on the price of 32,800 out the door?

Not bad...$3k off sticker...but with the 06's arriving in a few weeks, I'd be looking for a little more...maybe $32,800 OTD not $32,800 + TTL (don't know what tax is in NY, but here it's low enough that they would probably do that).

Thats what i was thinking....

My friend for taht 32,800 price back in May...My car died this week, thats why I am int he market for a new car. Now that the 2006's will be on the lots in a few weeks, they should start kicking that price down....

Thoughts?

If the dealer didn't install anything aditional $32,900 (including doc fee = dealer profit) the price is about $350 above invoice. With '06 arriving you could probably try to get it at invoice or even lower. However, it's all dependant on your local market.

Good luck!

Not a bad deal.

Per consumer reports as of today for o5 TL auto/navi:

MSRP: 35715 (including $615 destination charge)
Dealer invoice: 32600
Dealer Holdback: 1053 (3% they get from Acura at the end of the year for the car)
"Wholesale" Price: 31547

Bottom line is that they will rarely give you any credit for their holdback. So as it stands, they are going to be making at least $1250 off of you for the car. But considering there are really no changes to the '06, they may not be in too much of a hurry to get them off the lot.

I did a deal here for 3 cars (05 MDX, 05 TL Auto/nav, 06 TL Auto/Nav) and i'll be getting the 06 for $1000 over invoice.
