The OP said over $529 per month with 12k miles, but that was back in January. Maybe at the time that was the going rate (or better), but right now $500+ per month is not good.

2 weeks ago ours was $485/month (that includes tax), 12k miles/year, nothing down, $468 in Title, Registration and Licesnse Fees out of pocket.

Same residual as above. Selling price was $35,650. We put some $ down to get the payment even lower.

If you lease it is possible in some cases to build equity. IF you find during your lease that you can sell the car for more than the residual value you have an equity opportunity. It may be fairly rare, but is more likely with a car like a TL that holds it value really well.

The killer on any lease is signigicantly going over your mileage allowance. You do that, you may as well just bend over the finance managers desk at lease end because you are F'd.

 

Sounds pretty good to me. Got my '07 TL Type S 6 weeks ago. I pay $537 a month, that was for 48 months 12K/year lease.
