Is this a good deal??
Is this a good deal??
Been searching and searching and might of found the deal I've been looking for...
How does this sound to you all?
2005 TL
Ext. Silver
Int. Black
w/ Navigation
Mileage: 33k
Priced: $23,488
What do you think of that pricing? The carfax didn't show much since it didn't seem like they went to the acura dealer for regular service or took it elsewhere, but it didn't show any accidents. So would that mean it would have a clear title? Or how do I look for that?
What could I talk them down to or what could I get out of them?
This isn't from a acura dealership...
Thanks...

I'd say its always worth trying to talk down, but too me thats a hell of a deal just bought a 2004 silver/black 6sp yesterday for 20,000! so id say your sittin pretty nice...but thats just me1
Where are you located? Personally i think that is pretty expensive from a non-acura dealer since its not Certified Pre-owned. Here in NY you can get the same car Certified Pre-owned with the extended warranty.
I agree, that is still pretty pricey from an individual. Actual street value is probably closer to $21K for that car with those (average) miles. It's not really a low-mileage car as it could have been a late 2005 model.
It's from a dealer and not a individual...........this car is located in OH and we live in KY.
Guess I'll have to talk to the wife. So the 09's are going to be new models? Thanks for the input, but keep the responses coming.

when I shop I get typical prices from different sources like nada, yahoo, autotrader so i know if what i'm paying is reasonable for my area. sellers do that. and they usually set the price higher so when they give a little you think you got a deal.
one thing about carfax and the other one: they aint near as comprehensive as they want you to think. all they do is pull public records so unless an event gets reported carfax doesn't know. i ran a car into the back of another several years ago, almost 7k repairs and it did not show up.

Did you check www.kellybluebook.com ? I think they have a couple of 2006 model's for that price range as well
Yeah def ask about their extended warranty. Also, you might as well add up all the numbers, see where you're at and then offer them an "out the door" price. I tried and failed. Haha
That price does seem high but it always depends on your area.

I would really love to find one similar to this that is certified and from a acura dealer.
