whoops i was in such a rush i forgot to leave the mileage. It has 46k miles, with no nav or a-spec and has an automatic. Here is the link on autotrader.

Should i be worried about the transmission? I had a 2000 Honda Accord with the recalled transmission, and luckily it crapped out on me at 93,000 miles, but i figure honda/acura would of got it fixed by now. Is there a way to check if it has a bad tranny by looking at the vin#?

KBB Private Party Value:
Excellent
$24,015
Good
$22,580
Given the above, I'd say it's slightly high, especially when the warranty will be out in 4,000 miles, but if the body, interior, tires, wheels, etc. are in excellent condition it's up to you to make the decision. Got to say I think white is great, of course that's what I have.
The trans should present no problem if maintained, but I'd take a look at the trans fluid. Ask for maintenance records of routine service e.g. oil/filter changes etc. You can also check the VIN with an Acura dealer for history. Ask if the cabin filter was ever replaced as this will give some indication of maintenance performed.

Thanks for the info.
New update - I called him and told him i could'nt afford 24,500 and said i could only buy it if it was for 23,000 and he actually said OK. And i actually checked the KBB and it said for excellent - $24,865 and good - $22,330. So for 23,000, is that a good deal on my part?
My next question is if i do end up buying it, what kind of paperwork do i have to do in terms of title and registration? I never bought a used car b4 or from a private person in that case.

If the bank still has the title, he'll need to pay off the loan first.

If it's a Certified car being sold by an Acura dealer, there is no charge as it's included in the final price. The extra cost warranty, if you want bumper to bumper coverage for 7 yr 100,000 miles, then it's @ $900 additional.
i decided not to get the car and wait to see if there are any better deals. Even though i dropped the price down to 23 thou, i was thinking it would be a bad investment. Besides it was a 05 with 2 previous owners and i would of been the third. thanks for all your help and hope to be a future tl owner one day
