A lease or a purchase, you still "haggle" the same. It's all about the discount or how much they are willing to move off of MSRP regardless if you are buying or leasing. When buying, it's called the purchase price and when leasing it's called the capital cost.

From the leases I've ran recently on the TL, it appears as if you did indeed get a decent deal and they moved roughly $1,300 off of MSRP for you (+/- $100).

thanks for the info! they orignally wanted 486 a month. so 1260 off MSRP.

is there a way to confirm that $486 came from the MSRP cost of the car? is there a formula to calculate this?

www.leaseguide.com

this should answer all of your questions regarding a lease. plus they have a lease calculator on there which will help you tie out to the penny on your lease specifics.

My 3g's covered the down, 1st month, registration fees and the like. Again, it sounds like a pretty solid deal. Please update us on how you do.

What color are you looking at??

Thats what I've got....WDP w/ quartz interior and no navi... I kind of regret no navi...its not that I need to know where I am going, but all of the voice commands and the screen looks a little nicer than my display. Also, the clock display at the top of the dash is much more useful on the navi models (it displays climate control and radio info). Either way, I'm sure you will enjoy the car as I have.

I was just quoted:

Auto/Nav
42 months
15k miles/year

$2,000 down (first payment, doc, dmv, cap reduction)

$474 a month

What do you guys think?

I heard somebody on this board had the same deal but their payments were $445.

Considering I put $1K more down for no Navi w/ payents at $400, sounds pretty reasonable to me.

Cable, I'm in NJ. I think you had a good deal. What was the $650 for? DMV fee and $157 for Documentary fees and bank fee?

My deal:
DGP 5 AT non-nav.
42 months
15K per year
$453 per month including taxes
Splash guards, trunk tray, wheel locks and extra master key included.

"No money down lease" $550 bank fee (Honda Financial), $129 DMV fee and $157 documentary fees
