OKAY, I dont mean to go on about this, but unless the brakes were totally changed on that first pic (IE changed from spec), then there is NO way it is for real. Those are not anything like the spec brakes on the accord coupe.

2008 Accord Coupe spec from Edmunds:

Brake Type (front): Ventilated disc
Brake Type (rear): Solid disc

Stopping distance
60 - 0 (ft): 128

Braking Rating: Average

Braking Comments: The pedal is firm and reassuring, with little-to-no ABS vibration. Tires lurched slightly under full-ABS stops, hunting for traction. However, the Accord's brakes began showing signs of overheating by the third 60-0 stop, and even more so when slowing after the third quarter-mile run, where ABS failed to pulsate and the pedal went soft.

I also checked other pics of the 2008 accord coupe, and the brake configuration in the factory pics are nothing like the pic shown here. Just google 2008 Accord Coupe and zoom in on the pics.

ONLY THING I TRUELY MISS IS THE HID HEADLIGHTS WHICH I'LL PROB HANDLE THAT PROBLEM
I did a double-take when I saw the pic -- I thought it was a G35 or BMW-6 or MB coupe.

It's amazing that Honda could do such a great job with the 2008 Coupe even though I don't like the sedan's exterior that much. But it got me thinking, if someone got the 08 sedan in black (NBP?) with 19' wheels etc, how much better would it look? Tricked-out like a 5-series beemer? Or just a wannabe? Anyone got any pix of that?

6-speed or auto? I drove the '08 4-door Accord and even though it was 10 more hp (268) than the TL (258), it didn't feel as quick. Then again, I couldn't really get it WOT for long -- the nearest dealer wasn't near an interstate.

P.S. If you leave that car by the dealership, you're probably gonna sell a lot more coupes and sedans, when customers see what can be done with it!

Everything has gotten bigger from generation to generation. I had a brand new 2003 Accord v6 coupe back in March 03 and I thought it was big and powerful enough. This year has bigger everything. I would love to test drive this years to see if it has gone big for the worse. Nice color I had the same color.
So it doesn't come with HIDs? I figure they would at least have that since they have projectors. Disappointed they didn't have LEDs in the tail lights like last years.

How's the space/detail inside the car? Looks a lot bigger from the outside. Nicest Accord I've seen in a while. Good direction for Honda.

Here's my 2003 AV6 coupe. I had 19's dropped on Tein SS coilovers and an OEM kit. The new coupes will need 20's to make it look perfect. If I had the new coupe I would do the same thing to it but drop it with some type of 20" Time Attack wheels.
