Good-bye TL

I ordered my 2004 6MT TL in November of 2003 and picked it up on Dec. 10, 2003 with 5 miles on the odometer. The TL has been a great car, fun to drive and rock solid mechanically. But life goes on and I decided it was time to move on to an automatic transmission.

This is my new ride and my wife's RL.

I hope you decide to stick around on the forums. I know a few friends who have the coupe but none who have the sedan. Let us know how it drives compared to your previous TL!

Sad to see another one of my fellow original '04 TL owners trade in their cars but like you said, life goes on. Enjoy the new ride!

My move from my 04 6MT TL with 127K miles on it, to the Genesis was a major departure from Acura:

09 RL (wife's)
04 TL 6MT
98 RL (wife's) - replace by 09 RL
95 Legend 6-speed coupe - replaced by TL
90 Intregra GS 5-speed coupe - replaced by Legend

Looking for a premium new car with active cruise (like my wife's 09), didn't want to pay for another RL and didn't want to WAIT 18 months to see if the new 2014 TL had active cruise.
Now have 330 HP and 8-speed automatic that got 31.4 mpg driving 24 miles to work this morning.
I will stay around the board as I will still have the RL and might even come back to another TL when the Generation 5 comes out.
