I simply find that impossible to believe. 230,000 miles and no brake service? That's 370,000km and still no squealing at that point? That's the first I've ever heard on a Honda.

I suppose if it was solely highway miles, but even then, that seems way out to lunch.

Congrats on your purchase!

Out of all the generations of the TL, and the first generation of the TLX, I personally like the 3G styling the best.

I feel like the TLX is toned down a bit, but I still think it is pretty stylish. I guess I'd have to see it in person to appreciate it more.

Well Done.

I only changed the timing belt once because I knew I was trading the car in when the 2nd service was due. Throughout the years, my car cost me $6502.18 for parts (including 7 sets of tires), $1907.86 for labor, and $670.14 for taxes. I sure got my money's worth, this was an awesome car!

Here's my new ride, a TLX V6 Tech in SSM/Ebony!

Thanks for all your help over the years. I hope to see you over at the TLX forums!
Beautiful. Congrats!

Congratulations on your new TLX!

Since we hear so much about problems with the 2004 automatic transmission, curious as to what sort of transmission fluid you were using, how often you changed the fluid, and for the change, was it 3x3?
