Hi Folks,

Just wanted to share a story on the importance of good brakes and keeping up with them.....

Last night I was out for a cruise and got off on an exit on the highway. I noticed @ that top of the off ramp was a long dark tar looking patch in the middle of my lane. From far way,it looked just like a tar fill in that many DOT's use for patching up roads.

As I got closer.....I noticed that it wasn't a tar patch in the road---it was a f#$@in painted BLACK METAL PIPE that I assume fell of a truck earlier in the night. I hit the brakes and stopped in plenty of distance from the pipe that could have easily taken out the bottom fender (and who knows what else) of my 3 day old purchased vehicle!!

Keep up wth those brakes cause you never know when your reallllly going to have to use those bad boys.

Driver awareness is always a plus. Good brakes wont always get you out of a situation its all about driver reaction.

 

ABS allows stomp and steer too~

 

Most people I see just do the stomp.
