I love Autobahn!

I was in Germany in June 2006 for a conference and I thought I'd satisfy my curiosity and try the famous highway.

I asked one of our colleague in the company if he can take me there and let me drive. One co-worker were kind enough to let me drive his Alfa Romeo after the meeting that day.

I was cruising at about 140 mph when I saw from the rear view mirror this BMW flashing his light at me. I guess he was alerting me that he will make a pass. He did! Zooooooom. I only saw his tail and he was driving an M5. He could have easily be doing 155 or 160 mph.

I love it. If I have the chance I'll do it again.

Careful bro there was quite a bit of traffic there... Must have been an adrenaline rush though. I sooo want to do that but common sense tells me no. You do know if there was a cop there you would have been royally fucked.

 

yea.. that kinda shit is dangerous, but i guess we all do it once. i pushed my UA6 to about 142mph in CT on a dark road.. never again... fuck getting pulled over, one wrong slip or anything and your life and the lives of others are in danger..

now TLFourPLay, he did it on a highway designed for doing it... so all is good there.. public roads, you really gotta be more careful and considerate.. but like i said, we all gotta do it once.. just BE CAREFUL

 

I think I read in the manual that the TL wasnt design for such high speeds even though it can go that fast its very risky.

He re-posted in the Perormance sub-forum (IIRC) got no response and his post was deleted. Then a couple days later, he comes in here with the same , obviously proud of his "accomplishment".

I don't which is stupider: That he did this in the first place or that he posted it (3 times, no less) expecting to get props for his idiocy
