A gift for me....
Hello all, after cruizing on this site for what seemed like forever i finally took the plunge. For my retirement from the Navy i decided to treat myself to a new 06 Silver/Ebony auto TL with Nav. I have read some very cool things on this site and looking forward to reading some more. So far everything is going great and i hope it continues. Have had the car for over three weeks and taking her on a little trip from Virginia to South Carolina.

Welcome to the club and a new life. Way to stick it out. I was on the Peliliu for 5 years and couldn't wait to break out that mutha! For everyone else heed these words...N.A.V.Y. = Never Again Volunteer Yourself.

While i would admit it had its bad time, the good outweighed the bad by a long shot LOL...
Hopefully there are some others in the area on here that can help me with some mods....

Congrats, Navy TL. I wish I can retire at 39. I bought my TL 2 weeks ago, and am also visiting the forum to learn more about the car; or perhaps I should spend more time reading the manual instead. LOL!!

Glad there's another TL owner in VA! Welcome aboard. Interested in a TL meet October 29th? About 40 of us (so far) are meeting in Manassas and going to ride Skyline Drive. Should be a good time. Check out the "Meets" under the TL heading.
