I got one of those from Mcgrath Honda back when I had my Accord. I just pitched it because everything they send me is always marketing BS.

 

It's a marketing gimmick to get you to buy things. They aren't just giving you a $500 gift card that can be used all at once for "free" stuff. Think of it as a 15% off coupon, with a $500 cap.

In order to get $500 value from it, you'd have to spend $3,334 at their dealership.

 

damn thats beat....but if you could use it on oil canges and stuff....15 percent off each time....better than what i got from them....nothing...lol

Hey I just got my A1 service (oil change and tire rotation) done there for like 100 bucks. I complained that it was too expensive so they gave me a coupon for a free interior/exterior detail service (wax,buff,vaccum) worth 80 bucks.

so an oil change is 39.95 huh. I guess a tire rotation costs 100 bucks then.

 

Interesting marketing concept to get you to spend more money at their service dept. I'd use it on an A-spec kit or something

 

yea... its a ploy... don't spend it on things you don't need.

 

the 15% coupons is actually awesome if you work on your own car. i used a 10% coupon a few times at the stealer and bought my own fluids and a few replacement parts. it was stuff i was going to buy anyway.

Hopefully I will get a coupon so I can get me some TL accessories.
