Like I've mentioned too many times before, it's easy to get back at her legally. My car was keyed in February of '06 when the car was 2 months old. This girl was bipolar as well. I'm not just calling her that, she was actually diagnosed. I was about 28, she was 20. I was going to break up with her but it was the day before Valentine's day so I was going to wait till the day after. She had a couple beers that I didn't know about at first and picked me up. She ended up getting mad at some truck so she cut him off. I told her not to screw around, she got insanely pissed so I told her to take me home (to a friend house where my car was). I decided to break up with her but waited until we were out of the car. I had to listen to her rant the whole way there but I was silent and trying not to smile the whole time knowing I was going to break up with her the second I opened my door. So I got out, as I was walking away I said don't call or text, we're done and kept walking.

My friend is the one that noticed her '05 TL was still parked in front of the house and you couldn't see my TL from inside the house so we walked outside. As soon as she saw me she jumped and ran to her car. It was getting dark and I almost didn't see the key mark from the front to the rear of the car. I chased after her on foot and nearly caught her since my friend lived on a corner and I cut across the yard. All I had in my hands were my keys so I threw them. I saw sparks so I felt a little better knowing it took the paint down to the metal. Luckily my keys were ok once I found the battery and put the remote back together lol.

So instead of beating up her father, brother, and roommate like I wanted to, I called the police. She spent the night in jail that night. In fact, I happened to see her leaving the police station the next morning and waved and smiled at her and I got the finger. My insurance went after her to get the cost of repairs including my $500 deductible. I was good friends with her boss and got her fired but not before I served her with a restraining order and used one of my super a**hole friends to serve them, basically doing it in a way that everyone she worked with knew she had been served.

About a week later, she was driving drunk, hit a tree at 70mph. Her uninsured TL was not only totaled from the impact but burned to the ground. She had two broken legs and a bunch of other stuff including burns to her face from the airbags. They thought she was going to lose one of her legs.

When she got out of the hospital she was arrested for DUI and had to pay off a new car that she did not own without a job and couldn't go to any of the places she liked to hang out because of the restraining order.

It's easy to screw with her. You have the police, the courts, your insurance, and I'm sure mutual friends. Mine was as crazy as they get but that was the purpose of the restraining order. If she violated it and screwed with my car again, I considered that a good thing.

What is the cost of the damages? IMO, if you go after her for the damages then there is a chance she is crazy enough to pull some other shit down the road. Maybe it is better to suck it up, pay for the repairs and move on.

Sometimes you just can't fight Crazy.

Damnn thats some crazy stuff wth man. Thankfully only time my car was damaged by a woman (my baby momma) it was because she parked wrong and someone crashed into the fender. Whenever girls compliment me on my car saying how nice it is I always play it off and say is ok and gets me from point A to point B and I need a nicer one (kind of becoming more and more true everyday actually). And I like to point out that no one messes up my car more than me . So far my car has been pretty safe but we'll see how long I can keep that up for.

I saw this and thought I'd share my experience with some pics, so I got my new TL in June and was showing my now ex girlfriend how much torque it has in 2nd and 3rd gear, She wasnt expecting the power I guess and spilled some pretty hot coffee on herself. Needless to say she was Fuming, going crazy about her shirt etc etc. I had to laugh and that made her even more mad but then she got super silent when we pulled into my parking spot and kicked my car with her heels on.

Took that picture while I was testing out my HID conversion kit.

High torque? In a TL? In any car with power, you wouldn't consider getting on the throttle when there's coffee in the car. Sorry, I had to.

I must lead a very boring life. I am happily married with young kids. When I tell my wife I am going to spend some money on my car she says "just don't mess with my car". In fact, she is happy driving a new Sienna! Crazy.

I read this post to live vicariously through you youngins'.

Long live the Drama!
