I bought my 2005 TL 6MT from another AcuraZine member after he posted an ad on CraigsList and am still very happy to have done so. It was great doing business with him and he kindly answered a lot of questions. However, I never got was the Owner's Manual, whatever else came in the pack (along with the manual, "TL Navigation System", "2005 TL Maintenance Journal"and the tlc booklet) or the the second key.

What's the most economical way to go about getting a manual and key?

Since the 2007 navi DVD is on sale until the end of the month (February 2008) for a mere $149, is there an option for the kind of person who would ask about an economical way to go about getting a manual and key?

Yes, I have have searched the Black Market forum and have found one example of a 2005 TL manual and one 2007 DVD (though not the right one).

The keys are very specific- first you need to know which series, then you can get one off the bay or go to the dealer and be sure
Even requires programming key to the car to work~

Thank you for the responses, however I see no no forum member with username "Helm" and there is no manual for the 2005 TL on that site, just a one page PDF of an index.

Click on the links/words in the "one page PDF"- the links will take you from year to models; then click on the link for your model and it will pull up the entirety of the owner's manual and navigation manual.

Anything in blue is a hypertext link you can click on as a shortcut to get to another page.

Helm is a company that makes service manuals and owners manuals for different car models.

These are all great responses. I was fortunate enough to get a complete manual and "#2" remote as a package deal from eaby. You may be able to find a similar deal with a key instead of a remote. Good Luck

I copped the manual/remote combo in November. Hopefully it wasn't from his seller. I will say tho, the ebayer had a number of manuals, remotes, blanks, etc from various different cars...
