Drewman, i see you are AF. What is your AFSC and which base are you at? I am Command Post at Tinker AFB, OK and used to be SF for 11 yrs. I hope ur deployment goes well. It has been getting more active over there so please watch ur and your battle-buddies six!!

What does he do over there? Mine is technically considered a diplomat but they use that term pretty generically over there. He does have the cool passport though. They were guarded by Blackwater but not allowed to carry a weapon. He did have 25lbs of body armor under his suit. That had to be miserable in the heat. It made me appreciate what the soldiers go through on a daily basis even more.

IHC, He has 25 years of service, and just made it to the rank of Col.
When he goes over seas, he's an RSO (Regional Security Officer) and does security type of work. Also, being a diplomat, he keeps everything flowing smoothly between different countries.
In 2001, he was in Hochiminh city, Vietnam. I got to visit him and had a diplomatic passport as well. Pretty cool, that I was above the law. but it's expired now....
and I can only imagine having 25lbs of armor and a suit!! whooo wee, hot!

Just got back from Iraq in May buddy...goodluck and keep your head down...the internet will be your best friend over there...let me know if you need anything...care packages etc... Eric

Thanks again everyone . My AFSC is 2w151, started with a F shread. Currently at Hill AFB, its nice place minus the mormons really :|*srry if anyone of you are* And i will Def be watching my back out there, I've heard its nothing like Iraq so.
