To get or not to get...

Been out of the Acurazine forums for a while since I got rid of my CL Type-S due to a tranny failure but I might be coming back in. I got an offer from my friend, his 2004 Acura TL that he wants to sell to me. Has 210,000km but he's willing to let it go for $8,800.00. No accidents or anything, white on black interior. Has bluetooth, brembo brakes, 6 speed tranny. He said maintenance is all done but I don't know what to look at. Any suggestions if I should jump on this deal or wait for it to pass. Test drove it and it seemed awesome, looked like it was in decent condition. I have to let him know by tomorrow or he's passing it onto another person.

My biggest worries is the high km. I want to at least drive the car for 2 years without having to do a rebuild on the engine or transmission..

Ask if the 105k has been performed?
When was the last time the trans fluid was replaced (3x3)
Was the clutch ever replaced?

if the maint is up to date then that mileage or kilometerage in this case mean nothing.

It's a 6 speed MT car, so the fluid is a simple drain and refill procedure. Also, the 6 speed has its own issues, but the AT seems like a nightmare. I have a 6 speed with 73,000 miles, GM synchromesh and no problems whatsoever.
