Look guys, the rules are there and have always been. Dont act all surprised, it just makes you look even more guilty of not reading the rules.

I browse this site daily "at work" I have plenty of time at lunch and breaks to do this. You wanna see chicks at a car show, there are plenty of other forums you can go to see that kinda shit.

I am a car enthusiast, those who know me would agree. I goto car shows all the time and believe me Im not going there to look at the girls.

 

Don't post tasteless crap on a car forum, it's quite simple.

I understand you went to a car show and a beautiful model is posing with a nice car..as long as it is tasteful and not erotic...you'll be fine.

And censorship of language is totally another thing. If that will ever be enforced, I'll end my 6 years commitment to this site.

Being a member here doesn't give you the right to free speech and if you do feel they are censoring you...you can walk. Noone is holding you back.

People at Ramblings..no offense..their contribution to this site is limited, they are supplying entertainment. I think in 3G we are smart enough to know the difference. But I've escaped the 2G forum as it was deteriorating quite rapidly by the youth. Hoping same faith won't linger here.

Quick question: what are the rules/policies about such "bad" content in user's avatars?

I know of at least one other forum where they don't tolerate "bad" content but users have avatars that should be considered NSFW. (I think I might have seen a couple here, as well). If they don't apply already, I think the rules should be extended to avatars as well

We only censor it in thread titles. I cuss like a fuckin sailor. But again, its not every word I type either. If used correctly I dont think it draws any attention.

If you require further clarification regarding language, look at the rules! Again, we do not censor language but if you attack another member with foul language, your taking a vacation.

i understand, as i dont go to car shows for the women either, nor do i come here hoping to see some fine women. However, sometimes theres a dead sexy car and the only frame you got of it, there happens to be one of those girls in it.

We need to stop these "what if" questions.. if it's suggestive then it's inappropriate. Read the rules.. don't try skirt the line.. and do yourself a favor.. just forget about anyone mentioning the Ramblings Section.. lol.

 

A suggestion: Perhaps make a 3G Garage section where you click "Photo Gallery...Tech and Bluetooth etc..." I know I had to devote SOME TIME just to find out where this fabled "Garage" was

 

I was active over there until recently...great place, very entertaining. Just haven't had the time to browse that along with everything else lately.


I have to call BS on this, or at least BS on it being enforced. I see plenty of people with scantilly clad women in their avatars...one guy has a Honda man a Nissan man. Maybe that's changed recently, but they were there in the last few months. It doesn't bother me, but if those are the rules, and we're enforcing one part of the rules (pics), we need to be enforcing the other rules, as well.
