Gear position sensor

Quick question do type s have a gear position sensor since transmission is different from a base

I believe the transmissions are the same between the base and the type-s, therefore I believe both have the gear position sensor.

If the part #'s match, they are interchangeable.

the reason I think there different is because the pressure switches were located differently from the base
