Hey today I'm picking up my TL used. The gas tank will be filled a half from the previous owner but I don't know if he used premium or regular. If it does have anything below 93 octane should I run the tank down a decent amount and then fill it with premium?

Ill ask the previous owner of course but thought I should go ahead and ask

 

Just fill it with premium and go. Doesn't matter if the two mix.

Just assume the previous owner used Premium. If he didn't, you probably don't want to buy the car.
