Garager sitter concerns

Just a quick concern: should I be taking any special measures for my car that sits in the garage at home, while I'm on campus, for ~5 to 6 days? I've already noticed the harsher start-ups and lack of "umph" the car has, and oddly (wtf?) how quickly the car's engine compartment heats up. More concerned about fluids - motor oil (mobil 5W20), atf, etc.

Thanks
Eric

5 / 6 days shouldn't be a problem at all. I noticed this exact same thing when I went on my snowboard trip, when my car sat for 7 days it was a little rough on idle but I just let it idle / warmup longer than I normally did and it ran normal after that.
