I figured they would beat me up on trade-in value, lets say they give me $14,000 well thats another $14,000 finance loan I gotta pay off, besides I paid off my TLS months ago & have NO CAR PAYMENTS CURRENTLY. My TLS has a accident on the carfax report, I got hit the first DAY I brought it home from the dealer. THat would only be an excuse for a dealer to beat me up more on trade-in value.
then if i get the cars i was looking at they are 30 and up so i go back to car payments .......can't do it ............i am trying to see what no payments fells like for a long while...................

I know these vehicles aren't exactly being purchased for fuel economy, but the TL get's about 6-10MPG's better than the G8 according to the data on fueleconomy.gov. With gas prices they way they are, it's something to consider (assuming you'd be using it as your daily driver). Most TL user reported and EPA mileages are between 23-27MPG. The G8 (V8 engine) gets no more than 18 on any of the trims/years.

Depends on the type of driving. In stop and go, mine gets down around 13-15mpg and it's been that way since brand new. Still gets 30+ on the freeway. It looks like many G8 owners get around 25mpg on the freeway.
