G35 vs TL-S
#161
So it finally happened. I was on my way to Lake George NY with a passenger and some luggage. I pulled up on a blue 08? TL-S with 2 guys inside. To make a long story short, we did a 80-~130 pull. I had was ahead by a lot. Easily more than 5+ cars before I slowed down. He was auto and appeared to be stock. I recently added test pipes and a y-pipe. I didn't think I would get him by that much, I was surprised. Any thoughts? We definitely shouldve been closer.
So your outcome was just right. G35 has good tight gearing at high speeds so it's a great machine to use for "highway pulls BRAHHHHHHHH"

Wow, that sucks. It was very frustrating that day because several cars pissed out all their oil at the staging line. Either way, I'm getting headers and a tune and trying again. Hopefully ill be in the high 13s at 102-103

TL-S Auto is slow as turd especially at speeds after 110 mph. Well, slow as dog even from 0-110, compare to the TL 6MT.

My friend bought a 2010 TL 3.5 w Tech Package. Needless to say, we are going to run. Just so I don't start another thread on this, what is the best intake he can buy? I searched and found the Takeda one. Is that the best choice? Vid will be up once he gets the intake. We'll be doing a 60 roll.
