G35 vs 02TLP =

On my way into work this morning as I'm stopped at a light, a silver G35 coupe rolls up next to me. Those cars are sexy as hell, but anyway the guy is drinking a coffee and he looks at me with the look like I'm going to blow your doors off while drinking my coffee... I knew it was going to bad, considering I'm rolling in an 02 TLP...so he has 70hp on me, but I never ran with one so..
well you know the end of this story...we ran to the next light, maybe 200 yards..he blew my doors off while sipping his coffee
Why would you buy that car as an auto instead of a manual...defeats the purpose of that car

Oh well

I suspect the majority of G35 coupes are sold with a 5AT. That said, the G35C is as good in form as it is in function and isnt as purpose built as say the 350Z Track. I wouldnt turn down a good deal on a G35C 5AT.

I test drove both and hated the clutch on the g35. It catches really high and hard to make smooth. The g35 manual has tranny problems and its on its 7th revision. The automatic was built for a v8 and its bulletproof. Its also almost as fast as its manual counterpart so a lot of people opt for the auto.

wasan't aware of the problems the manual has...
alot of people with sport coupes I would think pefer a manual just for the "fun factor" and the "connection" to the car...but after reading your post I would prob opt for the 5AT as well.

I screwed around vs a 350Z, and he could not run me down. I was in my 3G 6MT TL.
