I am more than aggravate right now. I had a how work up with Serivce Manual Pics and all... nothing posted here except a bunch of blank post.
I'll try to explain in words.
07-08 owners should be able to follow the wiring diagram previous pictured, except the blue/red wire would have to be ran to #11 of the fuse box. Please continue to read all below...
07-08 Acura TL Manual
Pg 176 has the exact same diagram as above, except the foglight relay is listed as "Under-Dash Fuse/Relay Box" .... which means it's part of the fuse box under the kick panel (not under the hood)
According to Page 22-8
If you are looking at the fuse box (with the whole cover off) above the three rows of little fuses is a larger row with 4 relay's. The fog light relay is the 4th one (from left to right.) I would image you would pull the pig tail out of the back of the fuse box directly behind the relay.
According to the post by donnieb83 in the steering colomn there is a plug "2M" Disconnect this, and in cavity 5 their should be a dark blue wire, that's the one you cut, just as in the last diagram picture on this thread.
As far as where do extend the blue/red wire from the fog light relay (which is conveniently under the kick panel) you can run it to fuse #11, which just happens to be the fuse for the wiper. You could also run it to #32 which is a Aux Accs.
I wish I could have posted pictures on here. SORRY![Frown](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
Hope this makes sense. Of course you'll need to look at the already pic'd diagram from the 04-06 and just trust me that the relay is inside the cabin, under the kick panel.
For pics from the 07-08 manual, email me auman_jonathan@hotmail.com

Awesome!! Thanks so much.
I will email you for the pics and try to rehost them. It'll be a Bearcat address from msn.com.
(Not sure what's going on with the failed posts. It's just a bunch of gobbledy-gook. I've deleted those.)

I am not a fan of any indicators on my dash. Especially at night. I turn my interior lights all the way down and nav off. With tinted windows its like heaven inside a TL.

ok, i did this tonight. I am electrically inclined and this took me over 3 hours to complete. Why? Because the two green wires decided not to be 12V source. I had one that was only 6.3 and the other that was only 1.8. Damn wires why cant you be what I need you to be. I took the advice of using the green/yellow wire. I had the 12V but every time I tapped into it, it decided not to give me the 12V. (What is that wire for anyways) Once i took the tap off, the 12V was back. I think the Gremlins were with my car this evening. I finally said screw it and too a wire to the inside of the car and tapped into the amp remote wire that I am running from one of the spare fuse spots in the fuse panel. Finally got it to work, but for some reason i had two codes for the O2 heater on both banks. (does the green/yellow wire have something to do with the O2 sensors?)
Roger-the write-up was great and looked easy as hell, but for me today, I guess I did not have the luck. For me the mods I did on the Instrument panel was easier, even the LED mod for the steering wheel control was easier for me than this.
This is a great mod IMO. I have had times where the HIDs even with the fogs would cause too much reflection off the fog and cause bad visibility. Im glad I did this.
Now I wish that we could figure out how to get the indicator light to work. There is a blue wire that goes from the control block to the MICU and a light green wire that goes from the combo switch to another spot on the MICU. Would these have anything to do with the indicator light on the dash?

Anyways, I just wanted to say thanks again to the OP cause I will be doing this mod again to my new TL

On an 04 tl for step two what color wire do you cut ? I don't have the blue and white wire? Is there another way to tell which one to cut?
After re-reading the entire thread I'm going to have another look go the wire!

I don't think that is the right connector?
The connector with the blue wire was on top of the steering column on my car and I had to disconnect a couple other plugs to free up wire space to get to it and I didn't have a lot of room to solder after.
But I could be wrong.

Hmm when I disconnect this wire my headlight knob stops working I'll look again though do you know here it is physically this one was hidden behind the steering wheel more towards the ignition side

Mine was the black connector on the top I do believe. If sitting in driver seat it was at 11 o'clock on the top.
Reason I say not the right one is because there are not enough wires I do not believe. Granted mine was a type s (07-08) but they are somewhat similiar in that connector.
Go here and there is a better pic of the connector I am talking about.

Hope this helps. The last thing I want to do is steer you wrong.

You can see the blue/white wire in that big harness. Not the plug you are pointing to and not the other 2 plugs in the pic. Follow the harness around to the other side turn signal side and there should be a connector with the wire you are looking for.

Finally ! Only did the first half going to finish up with the wiring to the 10amp extra acc fuse tomorrow
On a side note when your doing the 4th step I believe when your connecting to the relay don't cut the wire too close to the relay it becomes hard to work with even if you unbolt the fuse box to gain that extra inch

No it doesn't dim your fogs or slow your windshield wipers, I know this through experience cause I have the mod done but I'm not sure about how the logistics work.

I am still a weary about doing this mod just because there was a little misdirection about which wire to splice to. Too bad no one made a youtube video or this mod was offered through an Acura/Honda dealership.
