While i was driving home from my friends house upstate, southbound on the taconic/sprain, i came up to this bmw. i was bored of driving and was in the mood to just have some fun. So i come up next to him, downshift to 3rd at 60mph and push it for about 2 seconds. I slow down, then a minute later he comes down flying past me. So its on, we are both ready to have some fun. The driver was real cool, we kept lining up at 60mph and i ended up hitting 100-120 each time. We did this at least 10 times for a number of miles. Highway was pretty much empty (12:30am). I pulled on him fairly easily, and each time i hit anywhere from 80-120 i had several car lengths on him. I wasnt really into it for the winning, it was jsut a lot of fun doing that for such a long time - must of been around 15-20 minutes. I lost a quarter tank of gas during these runs, but it was well worth the fun. Props to the guy in the bmw, he was lots of fun. He got off at tuckahoe road, then i got off at my exit, right after his, at central ave. Flashed my highbeams as a goodbye and he did the same back. Wish i knew who he was or at least see this message, which i highly doubt. It was great fun!

I had a touge battle with a 530 a while back. I saw him driving aggressively, we both stopped at a signal and I knew the two lanes would soon merge to one. So I let him have the lead to see what he could do and see what the legendary BMW handling was all about.
Maybe he was an inexperienced driver or maybe I was making him nervous by staying right on his tail but this guy couldnt even stay in the correct lane while making turns. He would try to take on turns at high speeds and end up in the wrong lane and whatnot.

It would be awsome if you could open up direct comunications between cars. Maybe something we will see in 20-30 years.

I know how you feel. I know that was a great experience. I enjoy doing things like that myself. Some people would say oh, that is sooo dangerous. Lighten up. How many things in life we do and encounter on a regular basis that is very dangerous? Countless. Live a little. Enjoy yoourself here and there. I think the TL's fun factor is partial reason why some of us pought the car in the first place, along with styling, value, toys ect.

 

YEA dr murdock. I was on the hutch last night at liek 330am and some riced up civiv cam eup next to me nos the hwole 9 he had. So he blew past me my car was on cruis at 70. So i was liek no motherfucking way never the less i ahd 3 passengers. So i get up to him and blow past him at about 130 thorw the hazards on and slow down to leik 100 i see him approachign i always let them get to me then i gun it we were going at it for liek a minute i hit 140 he slowed at like 130 so we jsut kept doing this till ig ot off at exit 13 the cross county btu the real fun i had was whne i raced a sc400. Fun we were ont he sprain and were goign at it for leik 25 min sounds liek urz. No joek we were doing at least 125 for liek 5 min sraight. We kept lining up and goign at it alll this thta you did. And he go off before me i flashed him shut all my lgiht off and back on he did the same to me very fun very safe no cars out only thing wuld of happen was me getting arrested and car impounded

be careful on that hutch, lots of undercovers riding in there. i got pulled over by an undercover for doing only 68mph, he gave me a warning but then slammed me with a tailgaiting ticket. doing double the speed limit is some serious shit, real fun but dont feel like getting my car impounded. gotta take the risk sometimes thought, lots of fun.

crashing at 120mph is dangerous, but when there are no cars on the highway late at night i dont see much danger in it ohter than the cops. how about autobahn, im sure they hit those seeds and maybe even higher. the car felt really stable at 120, felt like i was going 70.
