Front seats

Hi. Newbie. I just bought a wrecked 06 tl. Besides the obvious damage i noticed both front seats were tore up. I checked the surrounding salvage yards and every car i looked at had trashed front seats. Must be a common thing with this model? Anyway looking for suggestions. Replace or reupholster. What did you do?

Replacing is not realistic as you can see from your experience most are in poor state. I ordered a set, bottom and back, from vendor mention on this forum and had them installed, upholsterer installed for $100 for top and bottom.

Took me 3 years to find good seats for my Accord, imagine with less TL's sold it may be even harder. If yours are bad enough, you have to factor in rebuilding the foam in addition to the new leather.

What vendor did you order from and is it real leather?

Just bought an 08 TL Type S today and the front seats and center console could use replacing.

Thanks.
