Front rotor question 6MT

How hard is it to remove and replace the front rotors on a 04' 6MT??? Can I just pull the calipers and pull them or are they integrated into the front hubs??

I dont think they are integrated... When you pull the tire and the caliper, there are (either) 4 or 5 screws that you remove and the rotors come right off...

The correct term would be pressed. Our rotors on the 6MT are NOT pressed on. I just confirmed this from page 18-13 in the service manual

Thanks, yeah I couldnt think of the right word.

Another question... while searching 3G garage I noticed that Acura recommends that the rotors be resurfaced while ON the car. I dont think anyone around here has that ability, so do you think it is OK to take them off and have them turned??

It's all in this thread https://acurazine.com/forums/religion-politics-18/world-opinion-132940/

I don't see a problem with removing the rotors to get them turned, but why do you need them turned? If they are not scored, and if they feel smooth and do not have any symptoms of being warped, they might not need to be turned.

They are not warped but they are supposedly glazed. My car has 19K and I bought it 2K ago. The brakes are 3/4 gone and Acura wont do anything with the TSB for squeky brakes (yes they really squeak) because they are "to far gone" so that leaves me to DIY. The previous owner must have really hammered the brakes. So I think I am going to go with the Hawk pads and just resurface because of what the acura tech said they were.
