Question Front lip, Switchback leds, clear diffusers? o.o

Hey guys, i'm new to acurazine site.

I own a a 2005 acura wdp tl base.

I'm wondering where I can get clear diffusers for my head lights? It looks pretty lame without the plexi, and i don't wnat the orange ones beacause I have my switchback leds in.

On the switchback led note. Any that has them, which option did you grab? 20, 30 or 48 led option?

Some get's there from www.v-leds.com

but I bought mine from
http://www.autolumination.com/switchback.html

When I first seen the switch back leds, it was on youtube and I thought I should get them on my own. I went with the 48 leds to be baddass, but upon installation I found out that it made my turn signals blink rapidly as if the bulb was going to blow out. but on youtube videos it's a steady blink.

Is it maybe because I'm using the 48 led? and I also changed the fuse and amp accordingly.

And one last note. Where can grab some front lips or carbon fiber front lips?

Tyty. Please help a noob out. =.=

I'll let you know that you have to get resistors for your switchbacks to make them blink at a normal rate. It has nothing to do with replacing fuses or anything else.

i have a extra set of resistors for the switchback led if you want to buy them them they will slow down your blinking rate. email is gsthait@gmail.com.

the front lip is oem the one that kb1spec posted is the add on to the oem lip. you can get them from tim on here or try ebay. the carbon addon i believe was a special made item

Hey Khoalister, welcome to the site! I've done this to my headlights. You've got to open up the headlights to get the orange/amber part out of there. I've got the AutoLumination switchbacks and have burnt through 2 sets of them (the 60 bulbs and the 48 bulbs). I've got a 30 bulb set I'm going to put in. I've got resistors in mine (so they blink regularly), but I'm also installing "protectors", which are supposed to keep the LED switchbacks from burning out.

Here's what the headlights look like without the orange/amber part inside the headlight....

Where to get clear headlamp diffusers, cheap? Damn good question. I can't find them outside of purchasing CDM or TL-S headlamps. I understand that JnC has access to them, but I never asked how (perhaps from dismantling TL-S lamps during his projects that no longer need the diffusers). I like the way they look, especially when everything is blacked-out in the headlamp fixture. It's the way I'm going to go.
