My '05 Acura TL was recently bumped into and the front right light assembly cracked (see picture). Rather than replace just the one, I'm thinking of replacing both so that one isn't more faded than the other. What should I go with? I don't care whether they are OEM or not, though I'd prefer to save with non-OEM as long as there's not a big tradeoff.
Any issues with ordering off Amazon? I see some like these that don't include the bulbs. Can I have the body shop doing the install just swap over the bulbs?
With aftermarket headlights you have 2-things to be concerned about:
1. Quality of the projector
2. Quality of the plastic (resisting yellowing and fading)
I haven't researched much into the options that are out there but there are a few good manufacturers that seem to provide good results. The TL has a really good light projector from the factory so a sub-par one will be def. noticeable.
Body shop can swap the bulbs, but if they are factory bulbs might be time to replace them all as it's a PITA since you have to drop the bumper to get the bulbs replaced.
