Front bumper question

Does anyone know what the 2 round plastic caps are for on the front bumper (on either side of the word ACURA)?

Do these come off to allow for the license plate holder screws? Definitely dont want the dealer to drill the bumper for the screws...

Im sure you would have figured this out by now given that its been almost 3 months since this message has been posted. By any chance if you haven't, then its for the tow hitch.

Yeah, I'm confused now too. The original post was today (9/21), so I don't know where the three months came from either (maybe, you're looking for the DeLorean forums?). Also, the caps Azobairi is asking about are for the license plate holder. The tow hitch plug is quite a bit to the side, and not "on either side of the word ACURA."
