my friend just pointed out to me that on the driverside of my tl, the bumper doesnt allign perfectly with my fender. has anyone else had this problem? i searched bumper allignment and didnt see anything. this is something to get fixed under my warrenty right? what would they do to fix this? a new bumper? (thatd be too good to be true) sorry i have no pics, but its just slightly off, like the bumper is more in and isnt leveled with the fender

 

Mine is like that too but I just live with it.

 

Mine was like that. It's a very easy fix. I fixed it after I installed my AEM intake.

There is a screw pointing up that attaches the bumper to the fender on both sides of the car. All you have to do is unscrew the driver side screw slightly, align the bumper flush with the fender and hold it in place while you tighten the screw. Voila, it's fixed.

I don't have any pics but if you take a look at the edge of the bumper where it meets the fender you'll see it. You'll have to move the fender liner away slightly.

 

Interesting, I'll have to look at mine, never noticed it, but I have had 4 3G TLs and 2 of them have had back bumper alignment issues, the 07 and 08 being the worst.

 

Coming from an 03 Passat the TL has very poor panel alignment in comparrison.

 

gotta love acura for that. i dont think i have seen an acura come off the lot without miss-aligned panels-

 

mine was aligned when out the shop....after bumper was painted by the dealer... a very tiny miss alignment......will check that screw piece.
