?? Front Bumper

I just noticed (need to get new glasses!!) on my front bumper under the right side headlight a circle about the size of a silver dollar. Looks like it could be punched out????

Is this suppose to be there??? The funny thing is that I see the same circle on some of the pictures of the bumper in the broshure I have???

rtfm ... it is a hole used to insert a towing hook/bar

DON'T remove it or immediately your TL will break down!!

R11S is correct. If the TL needs to be towed, the "circular piece" is taken out, and the tow hook in the bumper is behind it, so that the car can be towed.

Did you notice it in the picture in the Owner's Manual on page 251?

Do you still have the front license plate holder on? If you do and remove it, or if it is not there, you will also see two smaller holes. If the body colored plugs are not in the holes in the bumper, look in the glove drawer or make your dealer get you a set.

Tried that...I even tried putting a funnel in the hole to get more air in...I didn't really notice a difference in performance though.

Maybe Injen will work better.

Thanks everyone.

No, didn't take the time to look in the manual.
