Friday Night at E-Town

Well, I finally got a chance to get her down to the track last friday night. On my first run I gave a little to much gas coming off the line :

1st run

60' : 2.4
1/4 : 13.812
spd : 105

2nd run

60' : 2.3
1/4 : 13.54
spd : 106

3rd run after I iced both blower and intake manifold

60' : 2.3
1/4 : 13.32
spd : 107

I could not seem to get my 60' under a 2.3. on the last run I was able to keep my tires on the ground in second due to them being heated a little longer during my burnout. I am going again this wednesday coming up. I hope to have my slicks on to get my 60' down and get her down to a 13 flat.

Awesome numbers, im jealous again for those damn 6sp. Get a 2.1 60' and you will have 12 second pass. Every .1 of a second off you 60' is .2 off you E.T. If the weather hits low 70's tonight ill be going to Atco.

How much does this cost to run your car here? I have been wanting to do it at Englishtown or Maple Grove Raceway (probablly closer to this track) because I am from the Philadelphia area.

Atco is 20mins from Philly. Costs 13dollars to run. You can run any Tuesday, Thursday or Friday. Englishtown is a nicer track, but the techs are stricter there. Aftermarket turbos and superchargers are required to wear fireproof jackets. At atco they let you run what you drove there. No questions asked. Now if you trailer something in, its different. Then the tech inspecter might rip the car apart.

Where is ATCO? Sounds like a great deal. Do they have a website?

Those are impressive numbers man. Those are the kind of numbers I'm hoping for after I start the serious mods on my car. Good luck, and keep up the good work.

The track is supposed to have the best numbers in all. Due to closest to sea level.

Very respectable #s...congrats!

What kind of tires are you running......with those 60' times I'd assume it wasn't a DR or slick?

BFG DRs or the Nitto 555 DRs would be a major improvement for you......the MT ET Street DRs would be a MAJOR improvement. I use them on my LX and they are unbelievable.
