Free Battery Inspection Results in Free Replacement
After reading about so many people having their batteries fail at around 35K miles, I decided to have my dealer inspect the battery during service today.
The battery inspection was free and they found that my battery failed the load test. The battery was then replaced for free under warranty.
My car didn't show any signs of the battery failing (slow start up). It was more of a preventive measure. I'm sure glad I asked.
Just something to consider...
Another for Kearny Mesa Acura.

That's good news, my TLS only has 2K miles on it, and the battery is already not giving it enough juice on cold starts.... I will go with Yellow Top altogether, enough with this underpowered stock batteries.
In CA, I see Acura dealership are nice, in NY they truly are strealerships.

Actually my battery failed on me around 23XXX because I have a sh*t load of stuff in my car. I bought an used Interstate battery for $20 and then took out my old one and called up my friend at the dealer and he told me to come down and he took in my old batter and give me a free replacement.

Around 20K miles? Wow. Maybe if you use a lot of electronics in your car, you should start asking when you surpass 20K miles.
The only extra load I have is a backup camera and a media player.

When I did my CAI and P2R mods a few weeks ago, I replaced the stock battery with a Braille battery from Tirerack. It's about 1/2 the size and about 30 lbs. lighter, and the engine cranks a heck of alot faster than with the stock battery.
