Frankenstein J35a8

I want to build a Frankenstein engine with my J35a8. Which models of the j37 would be a direct swap for crank and rods. Should I go with j37 pistons if I plan on boosting?

Running a J37 crank and rod would make a J36... but that's way too much work just for 0.1L bump.

the engine isn’t in the car yet, I’m swapping my j30a4 03 Accord. Would it still be too much work than the value? I’m also going to be replacing the pistons with k20/k24 (+3) mm. So I figured why not do a bit more if it’s already out of the car and taken apart.

I actually was considering ls7 swapping it and making it 4wd. I’m already in the middle of lifting it 8 inches (including the extra night from the tires) and it would give me enough room for the tranny of the ls. It’s just way too far out of my budget.

I had the tires and spaces just sitting around after I wrecked my Jeep. It’s the same bolt pattern so I decided to yeet it. I figure with the amount of torque the car has it should be able to handle it. Plus I was genuinely considering LS swapping it, so I’d need the extra space underneath.

I’m in the middle of working with a company to come up with a proper lift kit and subframe drop. They haven’t had enough of a demand to do the R&D. They are hoping to get the same model I have right now by the end of next week to finish there hands on development. I the tires are too thick to fit on the back without the lift and a little body work. I’ll definitely post it once it’s done though.
