Over sharp bumps or rough, high frequency imperfections on roads, there was a plastic rattling noise coming from somewere on the drivers door (can be reproduced by opening and shutting the map pocket with some force) well, it turns out it is the outside side view mirror. At the top of the mirror mounting sail, where it meets the window frame, it squeeks and rattles, so i shot some heavy duty silicone lube in there and it is all quiet now. Actually, I think that was a source for a lot of the noises I heard, because the car seems much quieter now.
