Wow, that is an incredibly high price. If he thinks he can get $27,000 for a car with 75,000 miles, imagine how he would feel if I told him what I just paid for my 4,900 mile 6mt Type S lololol. And I agree with what PS3 said above, modifications IMO lower the value be needs to part those out to gain some money back.

Non enthusiast will but TL lovers wont. I mean take the aspec kit he listed for $1600, us TL lovers know we can get it for $700 shipped. Then take an average joe off the street he will go to the dealership for that price. (granted some members here did pay that price if bought with the car from day 1). Hopefully he gets word to part out the car so we all win. He makes his money and we can get the goods for a decent price.

honestly, those are some nice mods, that he can sell on azine to make couple thousand back. And plus a 2008 blue tl-s with that mileage should go for 19-20k ish(stock). If he plays it right, he can get maybe 3-4k for all those mods

Wait wait wait...
is this EMERSON!?
He's the only KBP I can think of with the RV6 TD.
Edit: I don't think it is...stickers on window and the grille isn't KBP like Emerson painted it.
So now a real reply.
lol

He's been gone for a long time, idk what he's done.
But I don't think he would do all this to his TL after fully restoring it.

The right buyer might pay a little bit more for those mods, but it'll be a long wait. I know I don't want to touch a car that has had power train mods for sure.

Aftermarket mods are only worth something to the person who owns it at the time... It takes away from (not adds to) the value of the vehicle. They're better off putting the factory parts back on and parting out the aftermarket stuff.
The only thing in his list of mods that would actually add to the value would the A-spec since it's a factory accessory, but not $1600....

Don't forget if he is selling I'm CT, one of the richest if not the wealthiest state in our wonderful land. Some dumb ass high-school kid will get his rich parents to buy it. Then he'll come on here and start useless threads about a new intake he wants off eBay.

The guy is in the military and was right on on the majority of the things he priced out. He might have paid $1600 for the aspec direct from the dealer. About the headlights...I'm not sure but I'd guess that he paid for the depo oem replacements in addition to paying shipping and modding by someone like JNC. USR sells depo headlights and I think one of them is over $500 for the set.
The ONLY mistake he made in that listing, IMO, is using his mods as assets. Using his logic, he's only asking 14K for a KBP type s. Which is a killer deal. I think 21-25K is a more realistic number.
The RV6 makes me think he IS a member here.
