Formula One Window Film
Just some information for those interested. FormulaOne has recently introduced a new product called "Pinnacle". It is the latest "Ceramic" technology in automotive window film. The term "Ceramic" is actually a metallic film with a molecular structure that does not conduct electricity, therefore it will not interfere with any receptions, AM, Navi, GPS, cellular and so on. It is different than any other "Ceramic" films currently available. Testing on other "Ceramic" films, shows that there could still be considerable electronic interference.
Also, if you find that your film is scratching, look carefully and clean the windows good. Yesterday, I found that all of the vertical scratches in my windows wiped off. We found that the scratches are more of a silicon residue that will come off rather than a scratch that has gotten into the hard coat.

I've used their Metallic on my last 7 cars and love it! It does interfere with rear window antennas, particularly on AM. Too bad I didn;t know about this Ceramic a few weeks ago, I woudl have have my tinter get it and try it. I don't have Navi so it is not much of any issue though.
