My 07 TL-Sthe red footwell lighting stays on all the time. Is there a way to turn them off when I am traveling long distances???

 

Personally, it doesn't bother me that much when I drive. In fact, I never noticed it until a friend pointed it out for me

The only way I think you could disconnect it is wire the + wire to a custom switch and have it switch on/off at your liking...

 

OK thanks. I haven't traveled in the car yet so I don't know if I will like it or not but I have been known to turn off all the lights, dash included when traveling at night. This can be a very pleasing effect, keeps me focused on traffic. Red is definitely better than blue or white for night vision.

 

I think this is a pretty cool feature.
I wonder if the 04-06 models have this or not?
If not, is there a way to do this mod?
