The foglights are built in for the 2004 TL.

You're right on about being built-in, next to the bi-xenons; however, in Canada if I'm not mistaken, the TL has Daytime Running Lights (DRL's) in place of the foglights. I believe it's Canadian law that you must have DRL's - thus Acura placing them where us in the States have foglights.

Somebody a long time ago on this forum told me of the differences between the US spec and the Canadian spec TL's and this one was one them.

You are correct, DRL's in canada. To bad Acura has them wired in Series, if one goes out, so does the other, this is how they get them to run dim (instead of a power supply).

Too bad they could have used two $0.20 zener diodes so if one goes off the other stays on.
