Is the type s fog light ans lower grill the same as the basic 07-08 TL???
I have a 06 Basic can i just buy the grills and fogs and will it fit?

 

the answer to all your questions simply put is no. the reason being is that ALL iterations of the front bumper on the 3G TL has different angles in the corner of the grilles. I'm on my phone and can't post a pic of each, but if you look in the Photograph Section you'll see what I'm talking about.

therefore, the 07-08 Type-S' lower corners of the grille are different that the Base 07-08's, which is in turn different than the Base 04-06's.

to put lower fogs on your 06(same as what I have) you will have to buy 03-05 Accord sedan fogs and wire them in. look in the Garage section and you'll find a few DIY's on how to do this.

 

Thanks!! I kind of wanted that look the type s fogs have ,,but i guess if i dont do the base 03-05 fogs ill have to buy a type s new bumper

 

There is always workarounds for anything. You can fit fogs down there, but most use non-OEM due to the cost. This will require some cutting and rigging up some form of mount for them. Others have done so there are examples. And none are plug and play so you will need to wire them up as well.

How hard would it be to make the lower grill inserts from an o7 fit into the o4's place? How much cutting would it require? Found a set for a good price, no lights of course...
