I know this has been discussed before. The TL is one of the most advanced car out right now but they just couldn't design a better key fob. The accord had a better looking key. The material used for the accord key is better too. I dropped it so many times and it never got scratched. My TL remote gets scratched just by putting it on the key ring.

While you loose or damage the key, I guess a new key for Accord will cost more than TL

a tl key will cost 80 dollars and to replace a key and a fob is a whopping 300 dollars. so dont lose your keys

 

I like the fact that the Accord fob is built into the key, like the Euro cars, BUT...I think the Acura fob is more stylish. The Accord key is is plain black plastic, and looks cheap. The silvery Acura fob is much nicer, imo. Just don't drop it and you'll be ok
