F'n cops!

Hey, last night I got pulled over for not having my front plates on. I think it's ridiculous. Cops in my town have nothing better to do. I really don't wanna put my front plates on. Does anyone have pictures of how the front license plate looks on the black grill? I have the black vinyl letters and I don't wanna cover it. It looks nice. And that's the whole reason I bought them. Can I still get a ticket if the plates are on my windshield?

hahahhahahahah.
you gotta pay to play.

put on the plate, or risk another ticket.
your choice.

to answer your question, you need to call your state and ask if putting the plate on the dash visible from the windshield is okay.

Yes. Plates in the front window can still be seen as an obstruction of view, not to mention, a safety concern.

If your state says you must have a front license plate, you're free game as long as there isn't one on the bumper somewhere.

Laws are laws man, sorry! You can't have the plate in the front window either; you'll still get a ticket. I feel your pain though...we have to have front plates as well here in MN.

Write your state lawmakers and tell them it's a dumb law! They have nothing else to do any ways!!

my state DOES require front plates.
do I run one? NO.

if I were ever to get pulled over and cited for it, I'd pay that shit.
Because I knew the law, and took my chances.

I don't see a problem for being pulled over for this? If your state requires it, then I think you should abide by the law. Otherwise you'll just be getting ticket after ticket. Some people seem to get away with the plate in the windshield around here but I've been told by a few cops that it's considered as "obstruction to view" as RICK said. The front plate doesn't look "that bad" on these cars. So man up and pay the tickets because you know what the law was and either put it on or keep paying them.

Most states that have a front plate law won't allow it on the windshield. You might be able to find another place on the bumper to attach it but you should just put it on to avoid getting another ticket.

I wasn't attracting attention, he was stop in a red light and so was I. He was right infront of me face to face. When the light turned green he made a u turn and pulled me over.

Yeah I guess I'll just put it on. I had 3 PBA cards but I didn't wanna waste one on a stupid ticket like this.

I haven't been pulled over for a front plate (*knock on wood*), but got pulled over for a smokey license plate cover on my other car that isn't any harder to see than my faded cover on the TL.
