Which fluid to use for power steering n brake fluid. What brand to buy? Never change once ever!!!!!

 

i use amsoil synthetic PSF and motul 5.1 brake fluid.

remember, our braking system uses DOT 3.
DOT 4 and DOT 5.1 are COMPATIBLE.



DO NOT USE DOT 5.

what are you trying to do?

for the PSF...just get a turkey baster and take out the old fluid in the res, then refill with the amsoil. one bottle should be fine. there is really no need to fully drain the system.

if you want to bleed your brake fluid, get 3-4 500ML bottles of motul 5.1

unfortunately, both these items are usually only available online. ebay/amazon/etc...i've never found them in a local store.

 

I use Honda ps fluid np so far and I use Honda brake fluid prb not nesscary for brake fluid but no problems yet

 

+1 to AMSOIL. I use AMSOIL for ALL of my fluids. I have found 3 bottles of PS are needed for a 100% changeover...most usually need only 26fl oz., but mine required about 2.5 bottles. Brake fluid, I'd also recommend 3, but you'll likely only need 2.
